Cheesy Taco Pockets

Cheesy Taco Pockets are pretty quick to make a frequent Friday go-to for us. My Friday is hectic between 3pm-6pm. I have to pick one kiddo up from school and then drive around an hour to pick up another kiddos for the weekend, then an hour back, and I have to wrangle the youngest up too. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Since I am gone between prime cooking time, I have to think of something I can get done quick. 

You can easily get these prepped while you wait for the oven to preheat. I originally found the recipe on pinterest and really the only thing I would personally change is to cut the dough into 8 pieces rather than 10. And personally I like to season my ground beef with a little Season All and garlic powder. Also, I did not include the parsley, because it just isn't something I keep around.

7 ingredients
Meat
  • 1 lb Ground beef
Produce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Parsley, dried
Baking & Spices
  • 1 tube Pillsbury pizza dough -editing to say that store brand works as well
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning mix
Dairy
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 5 Colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks
    Just bake according to the instructions on the dough.
